Fundraising for Nationals

This year, an unprecedented number of our jumpers –twelve– have committed to travel to North Carolina for the American Jumprope National Championship. This is a big deal! As the sport of jumprope adopts the same sets of rules across more than 35 countries, this is the event that will be picking Team USA for all world championships, including the Olympics.

OBJump is a small team run by a volunteer coach with support from parents. There are no membership fees. It is stocked with talent and does well at regional and international competitions. But there is only so much fundraising we can do within our small community of Oberlin (population = 8300). We are reaching out to family, friends, and friends of the sport to ask for your support.

All gifts will receive a personal thank you email from one of the team members as well as a daily bulletin from the 2019 Nationals.

You can read below about some of the typical costs that we need to cover as a team.

This is a fantastic sport and we deeply appreciate you taking the time to consider making a gift.

with thanks,
